How eGive works:

By completing the eGive form you are instructing your bank to electronically transfer cash from your personal checking account to Redemption Evangelical Church, either on a one-time basis or on an interval basis. If you wish to discontinue giving, or if you wish to change the amount and frequency of your giving, you simply change your giving instructions at eGive .

Is eGive safe?

Yes. eGive utilizes the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network, which is a nationwide electronic payments system used by more than 20,000 financial institutions, 4 million corporations, and 135 million consumers. The Automated Clearing House (ACH) processed a total of 10.017 billion automated clearing house payments valued at $27.4 trillion during 2003 according to NACHA – The Electronic Payments Association. As a result of this network, eGive guarantees an accurate electronic cash transfer from your account.

When and how is my online giving confirmed?

Once you have completed the eGive form, you will receive a receipt of the transaction immediately via email. You can print out a history of all the gifts given through eGive at that time.

Why eGive?

Electronic payment has become a regular part of many our daily lives. As such many of us do not have cash or checks as readily available as we might have even ten years ago. Electronic giving will help you if you often forget to bring cash or a check with you to church. Yet, aside from the convenience, one of the best advantages to electronic giving is how it can help you to give regularly. You can set up giving on an interval basis and at each interval the money will be given. Also eGive provides an easy way for people who are not part of our church, but want to support it to give.

Isnt the offering an important part of worship?

Absolutley. Therefore we will not be looking to do away with this portion of our weekly gatherings. If you use e-giving we will have e-give transcation cards available on Sundays. If you gave a gift via e-Give we will ask that you fill out the card to record it. This will aid us in reconciling, but more importantly will offer you the opportunity to actively participate in this important part of our gatherings.
