God stands as the foremost figure to whom we owe our obedience.  In an effort to remain committed to Him and to one another we have formalized our commitements in four documents: Core Values, Church Covenant, Statement of Faith, and Constitution and Bylaws

Core Values:    Our Core Values serve three main purposes.  First, they are just that -- core values.  That is, they are a set of values that we desire to see drive decisions and the culture of the church.  As a new church these prove helpful as many decisions are being made.  Second, the core values describe what makes us distinct.  This leads to their third purpose—they serve as our raison d'etre (reason for existence).  We exist in order to bring glory to God, and believe these values will aid our church in that end.

Church Covenant:  Our church covenant is an agreement among the members on how to live.  It describes how we intend to conduct our lives and care for one another.  All members are required to sign the church covenant signifying their commitment to live in a manner described by it.  Periodically the church shall read the church covenant aloud together reaffirming our commitment to one another.

Statement of Faith: Our church is a Christian church.  As such we join believers throughout history who have organized their beliefs in statements of doctrine.  Our Statement of Faith summarizes essential Christian beliefs, shows unity in Christ, and guards the church from error.  Our statement of faith need not stand in competition with Scripture as we understand it to be guided by Scripture.  All members are asked to affirm the church's statement of faith.  This statement registers our belief in historic Christianity, evangelical Christianity and believer’s baptism. Once we as members agree to the statement, we are responsible for believing and living in accordance with it.
